While we continue to operate this company successfully, our passion for hiking and cycling has inspired us to create a new venture that reflects our evolving interests.

Perun, the powerful Slavic god of lightning
Perun Adventures takes its name from Perun, the powerful Slavic god of lightning, thunder, and storms. Perun is a symbol of strength, justice, and authority, often depicted wielding an axe or hammer to strike down his enemies and bring balance to the natural world. His sacred sign, a wheel with circles, represents cosmic order, unity, and the perpetual cycles of life, reflecting the interconnectedness of all things. This symbol resonates deeply with ancient Slavic culture and mythology, embodying reverence for nature and its harmony.
Our logo for Perun Relaxplorations draws inspiration from this rich mythology while incorporating modern elements that align with our e-mountain biking adventures. The lightning strike in the letter "E" symbolizes both the electricity that powers our bikes and Perun's dominion over lightning, creating a dynamic connection between tradition and innovation. The wheel in the logo represents the cycling wheel and the chain wheel, essential to biking, while also paying homage to Perun’s ancient symbol.
In the Velebit mountains, Perun holds a special place in local mythology. These dramatic landscapes were believed to be one of his sacred domains, where he was celebrated as a protector of the land and a bringer of storms. By connecting our brand to Perun and the mythology of the Velebit mountains, we honor the region's cultural heritage and offer our guests an experience that combines adventure, nature, and history.
